Taste of the World Cooking Demonstration & Tasting Events

We are excited to announce that with support from the Common Roots Foundation, we are launching a Taste of the World Cooking Demonstration & Tasting Cultural Wellness series!

The first event in the series, Summer Fresh Flavors, will take place on Thursday, August 7 at 6:00 PM, at Sunhee’s Farm & Kitchen located at 95-97 Ferry Street in South Troy, New York.  Participants will learn how to prepare Kimchee (aka Kimchi), a traditional Korean side dish. Participants will be treated to a sample and an immigrant story from Sunhee’s owner, Jinah Ahn (pictured above). Plus, everyone will take home the recipe. 

WHEN: Thursday, August 7 at 6:00 PM (ET)

WHERE: Sunhee’s Farm & Kitchen located at 95-97 Ferry Street; South Troy, NY

TICKETS: $20 per person (seating is limited; purchase on a first-come, first-served basis).

Our Taste of the World events foster community empowerment and cultural understanding.  They are a testament to food’s power to unite people, bridge cultural divides, and create a more inclusive and equitable society through culinary artistry and unwavering support for community initiatives.

Taste of the World is a fundraiser for the International Center of the Capital Region, whose nonprofit mission is to foster professional, cultural, and social exchange, as well as global thought leadership, in the Greater Capital Region. Thanks to fundraisers like Taste of the World, the Center is connecting our Community to the World!
